Our cozy bed and breakfast, Il Glicine, is located in an exclusive area of beautiful Sicily, within the Natural Park of Mount Etna and halfway between the Etna volcano - the largest active volcano in Europe - and the fantastic beaches of the Fiumefreddo di Sicilia Nature Reserve. Thanks to its strategic location, our B&B represents an ideal starting point for many excursions. In fact, it is only 20 minutes away from the north side of Mount Etna and its ski slopes, 15 minutes from the Alcantara Gorges, 10 minutes from the beaches of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia, 15 minutes from those of Giardini Naxos, 20 minutes from Taormina and Isola Bella. The main cities - Catania and Syracuse - are respectively 30 and 50 minutes away. Our rooms are very spacious, bright and welcoming, equipped with private bathroom, heating and air conditioning. Each room also has a terrace or garden and splendid views of the surrounding countryside. Some rooms also have an enchanting view of Mount Etna, which will undoubtedly leave you speechless. Wifi connection is available in all common areas and in some private rooms.
Breakfast is served every morning by the pool during the summer or in the old “palmento” with fireplace during the colder months.
It includes coffee, cappuccino, milk, tea, fruit juices, delicious homemade desserts and yogurt, cereals, musli, cheese and cold cuts and also, on request, fresh eggs from our hens.
