Our cozy bed and breakfast, Il Glicine, is located in an exclusive area of beautiful Sicily, within the Natural Park of Mount Etna and halfway between the Etna volcano - the largest active volcano in Europe - and the fantastic beaches of the Fiumefreddo di Sicilia Nature Reserve. Thanks to its strategic location, our B&B represents an ideal starting point for many excursions. In fact, it is only 20 minutes away from the north side of Mount Etna and its ski slopes, 15 minutes from the Alcantara Gorges, 10 minutes from the beaches of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia and our exclusive beach club, 15 minutes from those of Giardini Naxos, 20 minutes from Taormina and Isola Bella. The main cities - Catania and Syracuse - are respectively 30 and 50 minutes away. Our rooms are very spacious, bright and welcoming, equipped with private bathroom, heating and air conditioning. Each room also has a terrace or garden and splendid views of the surrounding countryside. Some rooms also have an enchanting view of Mount Etna, which will undoubtedly leave you speechless. For those who prefer to be more independent, we offer holiday homes, Garden House and Country House with kitchen, large garden and BBQ, which can accommodate up to 5 people each. Wifi is available in all rooms and common areas and is included in the price, as is the use of our fantastic swimming pool, solarium and private parking inside the structure. A large garden of approximately 3 hectares completes the picture and helps to give you a pleasant and relaxing stay, immersed in nature. Upon reservation, it is possible to organize excursions on Etna and the surrounding areas, visits to the vineyard, tasting of wine and local products, traditional and home cooking lessons, as well as exclusive events. We also give advice on itineraries to follow and destinations not to be missed in our splendid part of Sicily!
